Our project management processes conform to the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI’s) Software Capability Maturity Model (SW-CMM).  Our CMM-compliant management practices ensure high levels of consistency and quality.  PSI is one of fewer than 2,000 organizations worldwide to have been independently assessed at CMMI Level 3.

PSI provides logical and physical database and system design, development, implementation, verification, security, management, and administration in mainframe and distributed processing environments.   PSI provides these services on a wide variety of platforms, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and CA-DATACOM.

PSI provides hands-on network services that include planning, design, implementation, diagnostics, maintenance, analysis, training, and help-desk support.  Our personnel are experienced in the gamut of today’s complex network components.  They maintain advanced networking certifications from organizations such as Microsoft and Cisco.

One example of our records management services is our work at the FDA Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research.  There, PSI managed the Document Control Center and over four linear miles of regulatory records.  We helped to plan, define, test, and implement a system utilizing wireless handheld barcode scanners for point-to-point tracking of several millions regulatory documents.

PSI provides analysis, development, operations, and maintenance of flight simulation facilities. We support ground-based simulators, in-flight simulators, and integration laboratories.

We are proud of our work at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) where we support NASA’s Flight Simulation Laboratories. The Flight Simulation Laboratories are unique national research and development facilities dedicated to providing researchers with high-fidelity environments in which to conduct simulated flight research and advance state-of-the art simulation technology. The laboratories include the Differential Maneuvering Simulator, the General Purpose Fighter Simulator, the Visual Motion Simulator, the General Aviation Simulator, and the Cockpit Motion Facility.

PSI ensures the fidelity, integrity, and quality of the simulators and integration laboratories operations. We prepare and maintain the plans to coordinate operations and ensure maximum facility availability.
