FAIRFAX VA, March 19, 2014 – PSI INTERNATIONAL, Inc. (PSI) announced that it has been notified by New York State’s Office of Attorney General (OAG) of a contract award to provide Information Technology Consulting Services (ITCS) in all categories solicited by the State. The categories include: Development, Operations, Integration, Database Administration, User Services, and Management and Analysis. PSI is one of six companies that was selected in all functional categories specified in OAG’s Request for Proposal (RFP).
“This win is strategic in our expansion plans for PSI’s New York-based business. The OAG, which acts as an autonomous organization from the Governor’s Office and hence does not intend to utilize OGS’ HBITS contract, uses the ITCS vehicle for the procurement of IT services and solutions for all of its organizational entities. In combination with other existing efforts in the state, this contract will provide PSI with additional opportunities to continue and expand our business in New York,” stated Charlie Farris, Director of Business Development.
According to Fred Williams, PSI’s Director of New York Operations, “The award of this contract reflects very positively on our personnel who have been performing an outstanding job on our existing contracts, especially in New York. The project references from the existing contracts were one of many reasons we were able to capture this contract. We look forward to building a great partnership with OAG as we have done with other clients in New York.”
